AUDITIONS
WhoDunnit
welcomes new actors and crew for
our upcoming productions.
If
you would like to audition, please
prepare a two-minute monologue
(comic preferred), then call 401-226-6950
to schedule your audition. If you
are a singer, please also prepare
a song to sing a capella. |
Upon
acceptance of a role with
WhoDunnit you will need to dedicate
your time by appearing in every production
scheduled and all rehearsals as listed
by the Director. We do not
use understudies, so it is crucial
for every cast member to be available
for all booked events. Typically,
we rehearse twice a week for about
6 weeks and are in production for
4 to 5 weeks. We expect reliability
and hard work. All of us here at
WhoDunnit have worked hard to build
a dedicated customer following, and
want to continue to market our shows
in that fashion.
We
are always looking for new people
to join the WhoDunnit team. There
is no experience necessary, and there
are many functions one could help
out with during a production. We
are currently looking for stage/sound
managers, actors, directors and marketing
assistants. There is a small stipend
per performance. Rehearsals, character
props and costumes are the responsibility
of each character at his or her own
expense. However, the producer will
work together with the stage manager,
cast and director, as a team, to
create the perfect stage setting
with the right props and costumes
for each character.
WhoDunnit
is a nonprofit Corporation for the
Performing Arts. We offer quality
productions, and charge our venues
only what is necessary to produce
and market the show. We are proud
of the ongoing support we receive
from our media contacts, regular
venues and the community. We continue
to build new relationships by keeping
our shows family oriented, fresh
